Laura founded Porterisk to change that. She is passionate about helping business owners understand their risks and make informed decisions, taking the time to learn how each business operates and providing clear, practical advice that makes sense. Her approach is thoughtful, solutions-focused, and grounded in real-world experience across both standard and more complex risk environments.

Her expertise has been recognised within the industry, including being awarded Young Gun of the Year – Independent (1–19 Staff) at the Insurance Business Awards in 2021. More importantly, Laura is known for building long-term relationships with clients who value trust, clarity, and having someone in their corner.

Working alongside her clients as their businesses grow, Laura helps identify risks, avoid gaps in cover, and adapt protection over time. When something does go wrong, she provides hands-on claims support and advocacy, ensuring insurance responds as it should when it matters most.
